Terms & Conditions

Effective July 28, 2026. These terms are the agreement between you and Zieet Daily. Section 7 limits what we promise about security, and section 11 limits our liability — please read those in particular.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the Zieet Daily app or website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use Zieet Daily on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your local law requires it, and you must not be barred from using the service under applicable law. If you are under the age of independent consent where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@zieet.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts used for abuse, illegal activity, or in breach of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Zieet Daily to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data, disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or resell it. Do not use it to store content that is unlawful.

5. Your content

Everything you create in Zieet Daily belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service for you — to store your content, sync it between your devices, back it up, and display it back to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the legality of what you store, and for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export feature exists for exactly that.

6. The service is provided as it is

Zieet Daily is developed and maintained by a very small independent team and is under active development. Features may change, be disabled, or be removed. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost or corrupted. We may modify or discontinue any part of it, and will give reasonable notice where we practically can.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

7. Security, and what we do not promise

We take security seriously and describe our actual measures, honestly and including their limits, in section 7 of the Privacy Policy. In summary: traffic is encrypted in transit, credentials are stored using Android's encrypted storage, and system backup extraction is disabled — but the service has not been independently audited, content in the app's local database is not separately encrypted on your device, and no system can be guaranteed secure.

Because of this, do not use Zieet Daily to store sensitive information. That specifically includes passwords and PINs, payment card or bank account numbers, government identifiers, medical or health records, and anything else whose disclosure would cause you serious harm. If you choose to store such information anyway, you do so at your own risk and you accept the consequences of any exposure of it.

Nothing in this section or in section 11 excludes or limits any duty we owe under applicable data-protection law — including our obligation to apply reasonable security safeguards and to report breaches — or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Advertising

Zieet Daily does not currently show advertising. We intend to introduce it in a future version, and by continuing to use the service after we do, you agree to its presence. We will update the Privacy Policy and notify you in the app before advertising takes effect. Advertising will never be targeted using the content you create in the app.

9. Paid features

The current release does not process payments and does not sell anything. Any "premium" or upgrade indicator you may encounter is non-functional and grants no purchased entitlement; no charge is possible. If we introduce genuine paid features, we will publish the applicable pricing, billing and refund terms before you can buy anything, and purchases will be handled through Google Play under its terms.

10. Third-party services

Zieet Daily uses third-party services, including Google Sign-In for authentication and Google Play for distribution. Your use of those is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and links from our site or app do not imply endorsement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zieet Daily and the people behind it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business, or for loss, corruption or unauthorised disclosure of data, arising out of or connected with your use of the service — even if we have been advised that such loss is possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one thousand Indian rupees.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that applies to you, the exclusions and limits above apply only to the extent your law permits, and nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or content you store in violation of the law or of anyone's rights. This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own breach of these terms or of applicable law.

13. Ending your use

You may stop using Zieet Daily and delete your account at any time from Account & Security in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 5, 7, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to bring proceedings locally or to rely on your local consumer protections, those rights are unaffected.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is material we will update the effective date above and give notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, please stop using the service and delete your account.
